AACPS Benfield - Modular Classroom Building

[CHALLENGE]
A Maryland Elementary School, going through a full renovation, was in need of a large temporary swing space to house students and teachers during 3 phases of construction.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius installed a 7,260 sqft prefabricated classroom building to lease for the duration of the renovation project. Seven classrooms and one computer lab are connected with an interior hallway to keep students out of the elements.

Barrie School - Modular Building Research & Learning Studio

[CHALLENGE]
A Montessori School wanted to provide their students and teachers a beautiful new space to work, study, and interact in new and different ways. Tall ceilings, movable walls, and plenty of windows were required.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius and its affiliates produced a LEED qualified Design Build modular campus on a highly accelerated time schedule. The two green buildings were 6,480 sqft and connected with decking to create a changeable and adaptable environment both indoors and out.

BCPS Baybrook - Modular Classrooms

[CHALLENGE]
An elementary school in Baltimore City was in need of some additional classrooms. The school needed the walk way to and from the schools to be covered, and semi enclosed due to the age group of the students that would be using it.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius not only provided this elementary school with the 6,468 square foot classroom building, but also an extensive deck and ramp that included a full walk way canopy that led right back to the main enterance to the school.

BCPS Beechfield - Modular Classrooms

A public elementary school was in need of additional classrooms due to redistricting.

Modular Genius design built a 10,780 square foot facility inclusive of multiple classrooms. The building was installed inclusive of site civil engineering, permitting, and complete utility connection during the summer and ready for occupancy prior to the start of school.

BCPS Colgate - Portable Classroom

[CHALLENGE]
Due to the constant change in demographics in Baltimore County Maryland and, the county was required to add a classroom at Colgate Elementary School in Baltimore Maryland.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius has a 3 year contract to provide modular classroom buildings for sale or lease for the Baltimore County Cooperative. The Cooperative consists of participating surrounding counties in the State of Maryland. Upon notification, Modular Genius built and installed the modular classroom for the upcoming school year.

BCPS Deer Park - Modular School

[CHALLENGE]
In order to efficiently complete the renovation required for Deer Park Middle Magnet School, large sections of the building needed to be closed while construction took place. Baltimore County needed ten classrooms to accomodate the displaced students during the phased project.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 10,000 square foot modular classroom complex with 10 classrooms and a bathroom module for the duration of the renovation. The complex included lockers, shelving, markerboards, and tack boards. The building was installed in a two-week period.

BCPS Grove Park - Modular Classrooms

[CHALLENGE]
A Baltimore City school was in need of some additional classroom space. It needed to feel like a traditional classroom, in order to minimize and distractions to the students.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built a multi classroom, modular complex for this Baltimore school. The complex included all the traditional classroom necessities; white boards, chalk boards, cork boards, etc. The students felt right at home.

BCPS Lief walk - Swing Space Modular Classrooms

[CHALLENGE]
A county school was in need of renovating one of the oldest buildings in the system. This required a phased approach to move rooms out into Swing Space Modular Classrooms.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius constructed a 16,184 square foot modular classroom complex for the project. Modular Genius provided the customer engineering, foundations, decks, ramps, mechanical, plumbing, electric and communication connections. The project was complete in 90 days from award to occupancy.

BCPS Pikesville - Renovation Swing Space

[CHALLENGE]
A Maryland High School was in need of major renovations that would displace students for two years. They needed a large swing space installed before the school year began.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 3 building complex, with 30,000 sqft of classroom space with restrooms, offices, and storage. ADA Aluminum walkways and canopies connected the swing space to the main shcool building for easy access in all weather. The project was completed in less than 4 months.

BCPS Thurgood - Locker Room Modular

[CHALLENGE]
Baltimore City Public Schools needed to convert an existing elementary school to a high school. The project required adding a 2,160 square foot locker room facility for the varsity athletics. The building had to be delivered and installed during the summer.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius, Inc. delivered and installed the 2,160 square foot facility in 45 days. Work consisted of permits, engineering, electric, plumbing, foundation and entrance means. The project was delivered on time and within budget.

Cecil CC - Adult Classroom / Training Center

[CHALLENGE]
A Technical College had to relocate their existing truck driver training offices and classrooms. The space which they were using was old and out dated. They needed to move out and be up and operational in a short period of time for seamless transition.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius installed a 1,920 sq ft classroom and office space for their new facility. The turnkey services provided by Modular Genius included installation of fresh water and sewer tanks, decks and canopies as well as leveling the pad for the modular buildings. The fabrication and installation was complete in 60 days from award.

Delmarva - Adult Training Center

[CHALLENGE]
A power company had to relocate their existing power pole training offices and classrooms. The space which they were using was old and out dated. They needed to move out and be up in operational in a short period of time for seamless transition.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius installed 1,728 sq ft of classroom and office space for their new facility. The additional services provided by Modular Genius included demo of the existing modulars, installation of prefabricated aluminum decks, ramps and canopies, skirting and accordion partition walls to divide the classrooms inside the modular building. The fabrication and installation was complete in 60 days for award.

EHSD - Prefabricated Administrative Building

[CHALLENGE]
A new jersey school district in need of additional space opted for a prefabricated unit over an expensive addition to the existing building. The modular would house the administrative and guidance offices.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided over 3,000 sqft of modular office space to alleviate growing pains at the elementary school. Concrete sidewalks and wooden ADA ramps connect the modular to the main building. Open areas, restrooms, child study and registration offices are included in the space.

FCPS - Hillcrest Classroom Complex

[CHALLENGE]
A Maryland Public School System needed a temporary solution address overcrowding in an elementary school.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 12 classroom complex that would help keep students out of the weather. A corridor with lockers connects the classrooms and 2 restrooms. ADA steps and ramps lead to the main school building.

A county school district was renovating a school. The decision to move part of the school out into modular classrooms to expedite the renovation was made.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 10,296 sq ft modular classroom complex. The building had (12) classrooms, a central corridor down the center and boys and girls restrooms.

FCPS - Parkway Learning Cottage

[CHALLENGE]
A Public School had a fire in one of their portable classrooms. The insurance adjuster settled the claim quickly and the school had to find a replacement fast.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 864 sq ft new in stock modular classroom to the school district. The learning cottage was delivered and installed in 14 days from award to occupancy.

FCPS - West Frederick Modular Classrooms

[CHALLENGE]
A Middle School in Frederick County Maryland, was in need of not one but twelve additional classrooms. Due to the size of the new complex, along with the distance from the existing school, this complex would need to include restrooms.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built this customer a 12,012 square foot modular classroom complex. It included twelve large classrooms, and restrooms located on one end with an emergency exit.

HCC - Renovation Modular Classroom

[CHALLENGE]
A growing community college was in need of additional classroom space during a renovation. They had a small piece of land which they could build on, and needed it completed quickly in order to support ongoing classes.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built this temporary space, a 1,495 sq ft modular building. The portable classroom building was installed with metal aluminum steps and ramps. The exterior was an esthetic compliment to the campus. The construction of the modular building and installation was complete in 45 days from award to occupancy.

Holy Family - Church Modular Classroom Space

[CHALLENGE]
A local church in Mitchellville, Maryland needed some classroom space for their personal use. This classroom had very specific needs; blend in with the current facility, provide a large open area, and have an option to close off sections for smaller class sizes.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius designed and built a 924 square foot classroom for this customer. In order to provide the individual classrooms without distorting the option to have a wide open space, Modular Genius installed accordion walls. This allows the open area for large events, with the option to section off portions of the building for a more intimate classroom atmosphere.

LEH - Modular Early Childhood Development Center

[CHALLENGE]
A New Jersey school district was in need of a permanent modular pre-school building to move students out of the existing elementary schools in order to ease overcrowding and offer early education to a wider range of families.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 19,788 sqft modular building that contained 14 classrooms each with their own restroom, multiple offices, and a teacher lounge. The project was in the planning stages with the state for years, but was installed in less than 7 months after notice to proceed.

LMSD - Modular Classroom Expansion

[CHALLENGE]
With a projected student growth that would exceed the current capacity, this elementary school decided to install a four classroom modular building. This option helped to reduce the budget for expansion by nearly half compared to a 2nd floor addition.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 4,935 sqft refurbished modular classroom building complete with ADA wooden steps and ramps, seperate boys and girls restrooms, and equipment space. Construction was completed in less than 60 day from NTP.

MCPS - Leased Modular Classrooms

[CHALLENGE]
A school district was in need of temporary modular classroom buildings to be installed during the summer of 2017 when school was out of session. Each classroom needed to be complete with heat and AC, large windows, durable doors and locks, tech and IT closets, durable floors and wall coverings, and proper lighting.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius, Inc. provided a design that allowed the buildings to sit independent or be linked together side by side with shared access. A single sloping roof insured that all rain water would be
collected by gutters and downspouts on one side of the building. The 22,000 sqft of classroom space was manufactured and delivered to site within 30 days of notice to proceed.

MCPS - Permanent Modular School Addition

[CHALLENGE]
In a rapidly developing area, Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland needed replace old modular units currently on site, in order to improving the learning environment for students and staff. A permanent, cost & time saving solution was required.

[SOLUTION]
After a rigorous interview process, Modular Genius was selected to build two (2) eight (8) classroom modular buildings (each approximately 9,500 sqft) at the Summit Hall Elementary School site. Site installed Nichia siding exterior matched the existing school perfectly, and the Q-Tech Bard HVAC units are highly
efficient with low noise perfect for classroom settings.

Prefabricated Bookstore & Mailroom

Loyola University Maryland needed to expand their dining hall to accommodate a growing student population. Moving the mailroom and bookstore out and into a new modular building provided ample
space for all.

SEED - Modular School

[CHALLENGE]
A public college-preparatory boarding school was in the middle of a transition and renovation of an existing campus, but needed and immediate campus on another piece of property. This campus needed to contain everything a traditional school would have; library, cafeteria, science labs, classrooms, and administrative offices.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built this customer a 25,000 square foot modular campus.This modular school included all the same amenities a traditional school would have. Modular Genius also connected all the seperate buildings with traditional wood decks/steps/and ramps.

A regional religious institution was in need of additional classroom space for adult education. They had a small corner of the parking lot which they could build on, and needed it completed over the summer months in order to be in use by the start of the school year.

SMCPS Evergreen - Modular Classroom Swing Space

A Maryland elementary school, needing temporary swing space, turned to Modular Genius for fast and efficient construction of two classrooms with aluminum ramps.

St Margaret - Portable Classroom Trailer

A public radio station on Maryland’s Eastern Shore was in need of transition space during renovations, after which the University location would continue to use for student education.

WPRSD - Modular New Early Childhood Learning Center

[CHALLENGE]
Modular Genius has provided a second permanent modular pre-school building to the New Jersey School District. These buildings are required to move students out of the existing elementary schools in order to ease overcrowding and offer early education to a wider range of families.

[SOLUTION]
The 17,000 sqft standalone modular building includes six offices, a teacher’s conference room, multi-purpose room, warming kitchen, faculty dining, general restrooms, storage rooms and a mechanical/electrical room to support the total childhood program needs. The project was completed in approximately 100 days.
